I Went To Whatever Craft Weekend!
Gosh, I don't even know where to start to share my recent trip to Whatever Craft Weekend. If you haven't heard of Whatever Craft Weekend, you can find out more about it here and get your name on the wait list. I think I been on the wait list for almost a year before I got the infamous email in July and I literally scream from excitement and after a wordless moments, I picked up my phone and invited my friend Karen to go with me! With our Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper in hand, we were a craft match heaven and on our way to Newton, Kansas! I couldn't wait to meet all 14 ladies and spend an amazing weekend crafting and creating new friendships!
{please be warned, it's about to be a picture overload of crafty cuteness}
The minute we walked into the craft house, I knew it was going to be a awesome weekend!
Karen and I giving each the first "high five" of the night that we finally made it to Whatever Craft Weekend!
My adorable bed for the weekend. I wish I could just put it in my luggage and take it home!
This was the amazing craft space where all the magic happens! I totally want to hang buntings in every corner in every room possible in my house.
Check out the amazing swag each of us got from all these wonderful sponsors! It was like Christmas morning going through all our goodies!
I love this dining room table and the fact that it seats 12 is pretty amazing! Kimberlee is such a awesome cook and each meal was thoughtfully planned and extra yummy!
This was the most amazing cheesecake I have ever had and I normally don't like cheesecake but gosh, I could have licked the plate clean but I didn't want to scare my new friends so I thought, I better not. If you are interested in making this amazing cheesecake, Meg is selling the recipe in her shop!
After a delicious dinner, we were on to our first project of making a ruffle apron and I think picking out the fabric was the hardest decision ever! There was so many great choices and I think I changed my mind about 10 times before I made up my mind.
Can you believe I made all this cuteness in just a weekend? Watch out world, I am a crazy crafting mama and I am not afraid to use my hot glue gun!
I was so excited to meet this lady right here! Before we headed to the Barn on Saturday, we got to stop by Kerry's dairy farm where she was hosting her Fall Shop with tons of vendors and amazing stuff. She is the sweetest and I am glad I got a chance to meet her and her wonderful family who served us an amazing lunch.
Here are some of the goodies I picked up including that amazing metal cart!
This is Jenna and I met her through Instagram and I was so excited to find out that she was coming to craft weekend the same time I was going to be there! She was just as sweet as I imagined!
I wanted to bring a gift but I wasn't sure what, so I decided to make this embroidery hoop so it could be hung in the Craft House and I think it will fit right in!
It was such a treat to have an opportunity to meet these two wonderful ladies. Thank you Meg and Kimberlee!
The weekend went by too fast and I did not want to leave!
Craft Weekend will go down in my books as one of the best weekends ever! I am so thankful that I got an opportunity to go, meet these amazing women, craft, and create new friendships that I hope will continue to grow. I give Whatever Craft Weekend -- TWO THUMBS UP! I am officially a CW alumni and I can't wait for our 10 year reunion!
