A Day in My Family Life

I know I sure have so today I thought I share a little behind the scenes on what it looks like on a normal day with my family thanks to my friends at Famous Footwear and their #ohsofamous style gallery! #ohsofamous is a fun place to get inspiration, explore what others are wearing, and see the variety that Famous Footwear offers.

Well let me start off that most of our days consist of chaos and rushing one kid to one practice or trying to run a 100 errands with a 4 year old that has his own agenda which I am sure you guys can totally relate. Our weekdays are always so busy with the kids school schedule and work schedule that I try to leave all the errands like grocery shopping to the weekends. I also try to wake up before everyone else does and get myself ready for the day before I go and wake up the rest of the family and trust me, if you can, I highly suggest it! I find that I am way more productive when I start with a moment of peace. I normally work on my blog during the week composing all my blog post and also planning my social media schedule. I also schedule what I call "work sessions" with my lovely assistant to either shoot photos for the blog, shoot my DIY tutorials, or just brainstorm on the next project I happen to be working on. Saturday mornings normally consist of lounging around the house first before we have to get ready to head to sport games for my oldest and somewhere in between, we try to squeeze in lunch plans or often times, we are eating on the go. I like to pack a few snacks before we leave in the morning in case the boys get hungry in between games.

We have a strict rule that Sunday when we are all together is family fun day and I am so excited that summer is quickly approaching and we will be able to be outside more and to kick off summer, the Mister and I just recently updated our summer kicks. I went with a more girly Steven Madden Amitee Embellished sandal and the Mister likes the more comfortable look and went with a fun pair of Sperry's Halyard sneaker. I love that my new sandals have such a colorful array of embellished jewels and goes with just about everything and they are so comfortable. I can easily dress them up or down and I know they will be a big staple for me this summer! For me, shoes that are simple and comfortable sure makes the task of a busy day just a little bit easier.
