A Day Guide to Tulsa

One of the most asked questions I get is what are my recommendations of places to eat and shop in Tulsa so I thought I would compile all my recommendations in a blog post of all my favorite places to eat and shop in and around Tulsa and hopefully this guide will be helpful for you the next time your in Tulsa!

Favorite Places to Eat

( In no particular order )

Burn Co BBQ - We love this place for BBQ! I do recommend going early as there is normally a line forming at 10:30AM and once the BBQ is sold out, it is sold out! I also recommend getting the Mac and Cheese!

Elote Cafe - Known for their puffy tacos and it is delicious!

Mother Road Market - This is a new concept to Tulsa and I love that we have a place like where you can try different vendors and a variety of food options plus it’s just a cool environment.

Yokozuna - I love this place for Sushi and the Hot Mess Roll is one of my favorites!

KEO- Asian Cuisine and I love their Yellow Curry dish.

Andolini’s Pizzera - I love going here for pizza and their garlic knots are delicious!

Smoke on Cherry Street - This is a great place for brunch!

Bodean Seafood - This place is amazing if you like seafood!

India Palace - If you love Indian food, this is a good place to try!

Pho Nhi - If you love Vietnamese food or Pho, you must try this place!

Laffa - Medi-Eastern Food

Torchy’s - Yummy Tacos and you must get their queso too!

Chimera Cafe - I love their sandwiches.

Stone Horse - I always get the quiche because it is so yummy!

Peacemaker - If you like Lobster rolls, you will want to give them try!

The Tavern - Try their Bacon Popcorn or their Angry Mac & Cheese

Bramble Breakfast and Bar - This is one of my favorite places for brunch.

R Bar - Another great place for brunch.

Mi Cocina - I absolutely love their Brisket Tacos and their queso! I get it every time I eat there.

Queenies - This is a great place for the best Chicken Salad sandwich and one of my favorites!

Bull in the Alley - This is a fancier place and has great steaks.

Villa Ravenna - Good Italian Food and I would recommend making a reservation first.

Society Burger - A great place for a burger and a yummy milkshake!

Pure Food and Juice - This is a really cool plant base restaurant and I love their ready made smoothies and the Super Green is my favorite.

Duet - If you like steam mussels, you should give their Viet- Cajun steamed mussels a try.

Dilly Diner - I love this place for breakfast/brunch and if it’s a nice day, it has a great spot for the kids to run around.

Levain Kitchen & Bakery - Great spot for breakfast and lunch!

Native Juice Co - Great place for a refreshing juice or smoothie!

Ediblend - Also another great place for juices, smoothies or salad.

Cute Places for Dessert

Laurannae Bakery Co. - This is the CUTEST bakery and I love all their yummy treats! You must try one of their cinnamon rolls or a chocolate chip cookie!

Antoinette Baking Company - This is another super cute bakery and they have yummy macaroons.

STG Italian Gelateria - Yummy gelato!

Glacier Confection - CHOCOLATE!

Favorite Places to Shop

Utica Square - Hands down, one of my favorite places to shop and especially if the weather is nice since it is an outdoor shopping center. Some of my favorite shops in the square is: The Lolly Garden ( Kids Clothing and Toy store ) , Anthropologie , Madewell, LOFT, The Dolphin Linen, Athleta.

STASH - Great place for gifts and clothing

Black Sheep Boutique - A super cute clothing boutique

Woodland Hills Mall - One of the biggest malls in Oklahoma and a variety of stores.

Modern Cottage - Cute Home Decor store

J. Cole Shoes - A super cute boutique with the best shoes.

The Boxyard - This is a really cool concept and there are several cute shops located in The Boxyard.

The Nest - A super cute home decor store.

Ida Red - This is a really cool store and they have Tulsa souvenirs are well.

The Farm Shopping Center - There are several different boutiques in this shopping center and along with several places to eat.

Brookside District - This area is a great place for eating and shopping as well. They also have brand name stores like Lululemon and Urban Outfitters.

Nordstrom Rack - This is the next best thing since we don’t have a Nordstrom in Tulsa but I love shopping the rack and finding great deal!

Other Places to Check Out In Tulsa

The Gathering Place - This park is brand new to Tulsa and I have never seen anything like it. It is such a cool park for kids and adults and you definitely must check them out.

Sweet Mia Nail Spa - This is such a cute little nail spa if you are visiting for the day with your girlfriends to get a mani and pedi.

This by no means is my only favorite places to eat and shop but it is a good compile of them and of course as I try new places or new places open up, I will try to remember and update this guide for you but hopefully this guide will serve you well and help you find some places to try out the next time you are in Tulsa!
