Happy International Women's Day plus a Giveaway!
This past Monday, me and a few of my blogger girlfriends ( Kat, Lindsey and Amy Ann ) got together for a fun photoshoot to celebrate International Women’s Day and I am so excited to finally share all the photos from the shoot! International Women’s Day is a day for us as women to join hands and not only celebrate each other but also empower each other. In todays society where we constantly see women tearing each other down, it makes me extremely humble to have a community of girlfriends that I can turn to without judgement and truly seek support and advise. Being a woman who’s main business is focused on social media and sharing your life online, it can get very intimidating and comparison can quickly consume the way we view our own life and what we may or may not be accomplishing personally and professionally. I think it is so important not only as women but especially as an entrepreneurs to have a tribe behind you because as the saying goes, it truly does take a village and I am a firm believer that there is room for everyone in this world. We each bring a uniqueness that is our own and no one can replicate that so on International Women’s Day, I want to encourage you to empower women and to honor all women of all shapes, textures, backgounds and sizes.
