20 for 2020: My Goals for the Upcoming Year

I know as cliche as it sounds, I love the start of a New Year and the opportunity to set some new goals to make it the best year possible so 20 goals in 2020 sounds like the perfect way to kick off the New Year and for my first blog post of the new decade.
Are you a goal setter? This year unlike previous years, I am really focusing on more simple goals and things I really have wanted to achieve but sometimes felt they were so minor that I never wrote them down but this is the year I want to celebrate small and big victories the same.
20 Goals for 2020- My List of Goals:
Stay Active - I know, I know. It’s basically everyone’s goal but I do want to commit to be active at least 30 minutes a day and sticking to it.
Waking up earlier - I tend to hit snooze WAY more then I like to admit and I honestly feel so much better when I can start my day before the kids wake up.
Meal Plan - We are definitely guilty of eating out more then we should so adding meal planning to our routine is something I want to do this year.
Lunch/Dinner dates with the boys - As the boys get older, I feel like my time with them under my roof is not long so I want to soak up as much time with them together and individually.
Date Nights with the Mr. Mister - This definitely never happens enough during the year but this year I want to commit to more date nights with the Mr. Mister.
Read More - I have so many self growth books that I have started but yet to finish a single one. I really want to take more time to read.
Be Financially Smarter - I want to focus on our finances more this year and be smarter with our spending, etc.
Travel More - I want to travel more with the family. Flying or driving, I want us be able to see as much as we can together as a family.
Host More - I have always love hosting friends and family so I want to continue this into the New Year and have more friends and family over for dinners.
Be More Intentional with my Girlfriends - I want to make growing my friendships this year and committing to making more time for my girlfriends and connecting more often.
Hiring for Hey Thuy - I really need to focus on my business and I want finally to take the leap and hire someone to help me grow the business.
Streamlining our Home - I haven’t had a consistent process when it comes to maintaining our home and I really want to hire some help with the cleaning aspect of our home.
Self-Care Sundays - Sundays have always been my self-care days but it hasn’t been consistent. I really want to focus on myself and making it a weekly routine.
Send More Happy Mail - I always have good intentions to send more Happy Mail to friends and family but I want to really make it happen and I actually have purchased cards in advance to make sure I would not have any excuses not to send more mail.
Purge More Often - Instead of waiting until the end of the year, I want to stay on top of my purging and do it every 3-4 months to keep free from the clutter.
Blog More - I have neglected the blog in 2019 but I want to focus on the blog and producing more content in 2020.
Saying No - I often say Yes to often and this year I want to create more white space and say Yes to things that make sense.
Save for my BIG 40th Birthday - Ok, this is still a few years away but we have a fun trip planned for my 40th and I want to start setting aside some money for this trip as I have a big purchase in mind for myself.
Refresh Our Home - We have lived in our home 4 years now and I want to give our living space a little refresh with maybe some new furniture or wall paper.
Refresh my Office - I really want to focus on setting up my office to function better and creating a better space for try on’s, etc.
Ok, there you have it! Big or small, I can’t wait to work on my 20 goals in 2020 and celebrate these victories with you along the way!
