Spring Has Arrived at Woodland Hills Mall
I thought this day would never come as it has been such a cold winter but I am so happy that Spring has finally arrived and warmer days are here to stay! This past weekend some of my girlfriends and I ventured out to Woodland Hills mall for a little Mom’s Night out and we had the best time! Woodland Hills is in full Spring mode and is doing such a wonderful job making sure everyone stays safe while shopping! The girls and I decided to do a little bit of Spring shopping at some of our favorite stores before ending our evening with a delicious dinner at Texas de Brazil.
Our first stop was Aerie and you guys know that is one of my favorite stores to stop in when I am at the mall and they are full of bright color and adorable swimsuits for Spring. I have been really loving all the cute loungewear sets and definitely had to pick up one or two sets to wear out while running errands or working from home.
Next on our agenda was H&M and I truly love this store because it is a great mixture of casual wear, work wear and then of course, you can also pick up a few things for the family as they have an amazing children section and men’s section. H&M Is also known for always being on trend and you can’t beat their price point as many items are extremely affordable! I love shopping H&M for Spring dresses and love the color of this lightweight sweatshirt dress that can easily be dressed up or down and would you believe that it was under $20.00?! Such a great steal and easy easy to give your closet a little Spring refresh without breaking the bank!
Next the girls and I stopped by Sephora because we all know that I love all things beauty and especially skincare as we been home a lot more and I have been able to just put more effort into a better skincare routine for myself and Sephora is one of my favorite places to get my skin care items and facial mask. I like to do a weekly mask every Sunday evening before the start of a new week so my face can feel refresh and rest a the busy week ahead. And if skincare is not your jam, Sephora has so many other items such a make up, hair products and hair tools.
We got cute clothes, new beauty products so of course our last stop before dinner was to Kendra Scott to find the perfect little accessory for Spring! Kendra Scott just recently launched their new Spring Collection that is simply gorgeous and full of vibrant colors that will be perfect for any of your Spring or Summer looks! Kendra Scott also offers a customized Color Bar where you can literally build your own piece of jewelry that is unique to you and take it home the same day which I think would be such a fun idea for a Mother’s Day gift.
Before we headed to dinner, we made a little stop to the Easter Photo booth and snapped a quick picture to remember our fun mom’s night out! The process of getting your photos taken with the Easter Bunny was extremely easy and you can actually book a reservation online at www.woodlandhillsmall.com to make it even easier for you so you do not have to wait but if you decide to take photos while you are at the mall, they do take walk in appointments as time allows and for everyone’s safety, they are socially distancing everyone and have enhanced cleaning protocols between visits.
To end our fun afternoon of shopping, we had dinner at Texas de Brazil and holy smokes friends, it was DELICIOUS! If you have never been, this is your friendly nudge to go check them out as the food is amazing but the dining experience alone was so entertaining. If you are unfamiliar with Texas de Brazil, they are known for their delicious meats that are served to you table side and they also have an amazing salad bar that is filled out so many options to pair with your meats and the best part is that it is all you can eat! I promise you will not leave the restaurants on an empty stomach by any means. They also have an amazing wine list to choice from and a signature drink that I would highly recommend. They are also taking all the precautions they need to keep everyone safe while dining so you can have peace of mind.
It’s been so long since I’ve had a Mom’s Night out and Woodland Hills Mall was the perfect place to go! We got to shop all new Spring arrivals, eat a delicious dinner and just catch up on life. It was easy and I felt safe while shopping with all their protocols in place and now I am dreaming about the next time I can hang out with my girlfriends again!
