Today I Hosted a Sourdough Class
You know my love for sourdough runs deep and I have always wanted to be that person who makes her own sourdough so I finally did it by hosting a Sourdough Class with Sarah. Sarah is local baker who has her own Sourdough Bread business and I was thrilled to be able to host her in my home for a private class with some of my girlfriends. I set up a light brunch for us to enjoy before the class started and my favorite kitchen towel brand Geometry sent me the cutest towels to give all the girls attending! They literally are the best towel and you can use the code THUY15 for 15% off the website!
Sarah arrived to my home with everything you needed to create your own starter, loaf and be ready to bake your first loaf the very next day and she also brought some sourdough to eat during the class which was amazing! The entire class lasted for about 4 hours and she provides you with a guide to use for reference.
I think we were all a little nervous for this class but Sarah explained the entire process so well and it is definitely something you will feel more comfortable as you do it more often. I honestly was so proud of all of us and how awesome everyones sourdough loaves turned out!
I love being able to take different cooking and baking classes like this and it was so much fun! If you are local and have been wanting to learn how to make your own sourdough, you should definitely reach out to Sarah and you can host your own Sourdough class or if being a supporting customer is more your thing than Sarah also sells her bread weekly and you can order it here.
